Combining traditional and infrared heat into one sauna room gives your family options. This family wanted access to both heat types and a sauna room large enough for routine hot yoga sessions. This is a non-traditional application for an in-home infrared sauna, but works well because of their intent for the sauna. Typical infrared in-home saunas are smaller because proximity to the emitters is important to gain the more traditional benefits of the infrared technology. In this instance, the benefits of infrared energy was less important than the soft, enveloping heat that fills the room to support a hot yoga environment.
