2022 Finnleo Dealer Training Camp
This fall we hosted our largest-yet Finnleo National Dealer Training Camp in Minnesota. The guests included first-time Finnleo dealers from across the United States and Canada and some of our European colleagues from our parent company Sauna360.
The hands-on training started at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington hotel with sessions led by Rob Neal, Finnleo's Corporate Trainer. The group then moved to our Cokato, Minnesota Sauna360 Inc. factory for a tour, meet & greet with the local staff, demonstration stations and more in-depth sauna learning. Guests left the factory seeing the newest-built sauna in North America being shipped out, and then the tour bus brought them down the road to one of the oldest saunas, the Barberg-Selvälä-Salmonson Sauna. This historic Finnish sauna was built in 1868 and is documented as Minnesota's and the nation's, oldest surviving savusauna (smoke sauna).
We ended the day with the Sauna and Swim event at Camp Chi Ro on Lake Sylvia followed by a catered rib dinner. We arrived to the smell of two Finnleo woodburning saunas awaiting our presence with a local string trio playing around a bonfire for lovely background ambiance. The deep heat of the traditional sauna followed by a plunge into the refreshing lake was rejuvenating! It was the majority of the dealer's first time experiencing a hot sauna followed by a cold plunge. The sauna camaraderie was cheerful and high spirits. Chatter amongst the crowd included: "This is incredible!" "I feel amazing." "This is the real deal!" In summary, everyone left with a newfound respect of why sauna and swim is the ultimate rejuvenating experience.
We wrapped up our training camp the following day with final sauna training sessions. The two-day training event helped the dealers academically understand the sauna product more in-depth and the sauna & swim event provided them the passion and experience to make sauna a meaningful conversation.
