An unfinished lower level was transformed into an entertainment and wellness haven, including a home fitness center - complete with a custom Finnleo sauna. Kari Campbell, owner of Kari Campbell Interiors, LLC, transformed her unfinished lower level into a well-designed space for her family to enjoy time together and entertain friends. Outside the modern black sliding doors with glass windows that enclose the fitness center you'll find the lower level kitchen/bar area. The sauna was essential in their design plans; they use it several times a week, for different reasons depending on the season. In cold winter months the sauna is used to warm up, and year-round they cool-down after exercising.

Sauna is a regular part of the Campbell's workout routines, so positioning it inside their new fitness center worked well. The all-glass tinted door provides a modern feel while allowing some of the natural beauty of their Western Red Cedar sauna interior to shine through.

Mr. Campbell grew up with a sauna at home, so they knew they wanted a dedicated space for one in their basement renovation plans. Since installation, it has become a regular part of their lives, amid Minnesota winters and year-round work outs.
