Finnleo Launches InfraSauna™ and Custom Infrared Combination room with traditional sauna combined with far-infrared

Cokato, MINN. (November 30, 2009) For those who like Traditional Saunas AND Infrared Saunas, or for
those couples where one prefers the heat and steam
Infrared Sauna Cabin
of a Finnish sauna and the other prefers the soft radiant heat of Infrared—the Finnleo InfraSauna™ offers the best of both worlds. Finnleo has introduced the new InfraSauna™, a combination sauna room that includes a traditional Finnleo Finnish sauna heater and Finnleo’s CarbonFlex® far-infrared heating system.

The new Finnleo InfraSauna builds on the exceptional market acceptance of Finnleo’s market-leading traditional Finnish saunas and Finnleo’s line of far-infrared saunas. The InfraSauna™ features a dual digital control system that lets the homeowner choose sauna or infrared—depending upon his or her mood.

The combination InfraSauna™ system can be incorporated into a wide range of sauna sizes and designs, and is ETL safety listed to incorporate into sauna rooms from 100 to 420 cubic feet. It features a Finnleo digital sauna heater from 2.1 to 8.0 kW and up to nine CarbonFlex® infrared heaters incorporated onto the walls.  Both systems—sauna and infrared—operate independently of each other.
Historically, Infrared saunas have been limited to a few fixed sizes and models. Now “Custom Infrared” can be incorporated into a nearly limitless range of custom built saunas—whether it be a frame-built sauna constructed on site, or incorporated into a prefab sauna from Finnleo’s factory—the CarbonFlex® Far-Infrared heating system is designed to provide soft radiating heat from the walls and bench skirts.   A traditional sauna heater can be added at the time of construction, or it can be added at a later date.

Keith Raisanen, president of Finnleo Saunas, said the new InfraSauna™ is ideal for the couple that likes both far-infrared and traditional sauna.  “Homeowners have reported that they like to use the infrared as an early morning warm-up before their shower, and enjoy the sauna as a wind-down in the evening when they can lounge with their spouse” he said.  Raisanen said the InfraSauna™ can be modular and free-standing, or custom built on-site, making it easy to locate the sauna anywhere in the home.
