Interested in a sauna? Visit your local Home and Garden Show.

While walking the show, you will likely get a little tired and need a place to stop and relax. What better place to stop than a sauna booth? The very purpose of the sauna is to promote relaxation and to invigorate the bather. Many dealers will bring a variety of displays to allow you to envision which room will best fit your needs.

While walking the show, you will likely get a little tired and need a place to stop and relax. What better place to stop than a sauna booth? The very purpose of the sauna is to promote relaxation and to invigorate the bather. Many dealers will bring a variety of displays to allow you to envision which room will best fit your needs.

For traditional sauna enthusiasts, the variety of rooms may range from a portable sauna to a luxurious Designer sauna, with several steps in between. When talking to your dealer, be sure to mention how you plan to use your sauna: how many people will use it, where the sauna will likely be installed, and any special features on your wish list. The saunas on display will likely give you new ideas for planning your own sauna project.

For those who already have a traditional sauna, but it may need some updating, your sauna dealer can show you new options for heaters, controls, and accessories. Is your heater working well, but the wood on you sauna walls and benches is looking aged? Ask your dealer for tips on how to refresh the look of your room.

For those who are new to heat bathing or who have interest in Far-Infrared saunas, you are in for a treat. Because most Far-Infrared rooms operate on 120 volt power with either a 15 or 20 AMP service, many dealers are able to bring an operating Far-Infrared room to the show. If you have never experienced a Far-Infrared sauna, a Home and Garden Show can be a perfect introduction. If you have been carrying bags or pushing a stroller around the show, five minutes in the therapeutic heat of the Far-Infrared sauna will have you ready to walk the rest of the show.

If after visiting the booth you cannot decide which is better for you, Traditional or Far-Infrared sauna, don’t worry. Ask your dealer about an InfraSauna, which gives the best of both worlds. Available as panel-built or custom-cut rooms, the InfraSauna combines Traditional and Far-Infrared technology into one sauna room. When you are preparing for a workout, turn-on the Far-Infrared panels and feel your muscles and joints loosen to enhance your stretching and warm-up period. When you finish your warm-up, turn the Traditional sauna on to preheat, and when your workout is complete, pour some essential oils in your bucket of water, ladle some water over the rocks, and enjoy aroma therapy while relaxing in the enveloping heat and steam of your Traditional sauna.
